About Paul and Jerri
In 1994, Paul and Jerri Stracener moved from Atlanta to Watkinsville. With the primary focus being their children, they sought a destination offering an excellent school system. Moving to a small town was a great experience and they have been involved in community activities. Jerri was a member of the Oconee County Land Use and Transportation Committee. She was involved with many special projects as the county grew over the late 1990s and early 2000s.
Paul & Jerri’s children attended Athens Academy, Oconee Middle and High School, and the University of Georgia.
Outside of the home, they enjoy hiking in the North Georgia Mountains, local entertainment and restaurants, and spending time with friends and family..
Jerri enjoys wood carving. She has taken classes at John C. Campbell Folk School in North Carolina to learn the creative art of carving wood spirits and Old World Santas.
Paul enjoys turning wooden bowls and vessels. His previous construction experience is a great asset for advising on home repairs and new construction.
Paul and Jerri spent 20 years of their real estate careers with RE/MAX in Athens. In 2014, they made the decision to open Moving To Athens Real Estate. The commitment to excellent service to clients has proven to be a great asset with the new firm. , They’ve found that their business has continued to grow with referrals from past clients and website visitors.
