About Paul and Jerri
In 1994, Paul and Jerri Stracener moved from Atlanta to Watkinsville. With the primary focus being their children, they sought a destination offering an excellent school system. Moving to a small town was a great experience and they have been involved in numerous community activities. Jerri was a member of the Oconee County Land Use and Transportation Committee. and was involved with several special projects as Oconee County grew over the late 1990s and early 2000s.
I enjoy wood carving and gardening. I’ve attended classes at John C. Campbell
Previous experience and hobbies
I enjoy wood carving and gardening. I’ve attended classes at John C. Campbell Folk School in North Carolina to learn the creative art of carving wood spirits and Old World Santas. I worked for 18 years with a commercial landscape and lawn maintenance company in Atlanta as office manager, then as the customer service and sales representative for office park property managers.
I enjoy turning wooden bowls and vessels. My previous construction experience with home renovations and TV commercial set building has been beneficial in helping clients with home repairs as well as knowledge regarding new construction. We owned and operated an ornamental tree farm in Good Hope GA for 10 years, which was a big part of our decision in moving to Athens.
In addition to helping home buyers and sellers, we enjoy hiking in the North Georgia Mountains, the local entertainment and restaurants, and spending time with friends and family.
Paul and Jerri spent 20 years of their real estate careers with RE/MAX in Athens. In 2014, they made the decision to open Moving To Athens Real Estate. Their commitment to excellent service to clients has proven to be a great asset to the new firm. They’ve found that business has continued to grow with referrals from past clients and website visitors. Also, their knowledge of the area and current technology continues to be beneficial to their clients. Being members of local and state-wide MLS services helps them provide the most up-to-date information available.
